Call to Worship (adapted from Jeremiah 15: 15-21):
L: O Lord, you know; remember me and visit me!
P: Your words were found, and we ate them,
L: Your words became a joy to us and the delight of our heart!
P: If we turn back, God will take us back,
L: If we utter what is precious, and not what is worthless,
P: We will serve as God's mouth.
L: And all the world will hear, and turn back to God,
ALL: And the world will be redeemed.

Children's Lesson: "Barefooted Wonder"

Stewardship/Communion Meditation: We come to the table today in barefooted wonder, amazed at the graciousness, the sheer abundance, of the God who calls us, who feeds us, who loves us.  We come as ones blessed who know their blessing, and seek to multiply that blessing out for the sake of the world.  We ask for the grace to set aside our own fears and anxieties, to give in faith - taking on ourselves the cross of compassion and sacrifice for the sake of others.  We take on the yoke of Christ, whose fitting is easy and whose burden is light.
